If you are like me, you know you need to create a budget, but you can never seem to get around to it. I have also made a budget, kept it for 2-3 months and then stopped again.
I was also giving myself a cash allowance each week. I would always end up using my debit card and loose track. The benefit of a cash allowance is that I would put any cash that was left over in a box and would forget about it. I saved up for a vacation that way!
If you are looking for tips on how to budget, Yahoo has put out The Easy Guide to Budgeting. What do you say Ashley Lake Park? Do you have any budgeting tips?

As you may have heard, the bullied school bus monitor has received over half a million dollars in an indiegogo fundraising campaign. The video that was taken has received over 7 million views, also in less then a week. There is an outpour of support from those who have donated in the comments section of the campaign as well.
When I first heard about this, I was disgusted that such a thing could happen to a person. However now, I couldn’t be happier that she is receiving the good will of others.
Since the incident broke, the boys in the video have released a police statement apologizing to Klein, however they and their families are receiving death threats. While this case of bullying may or may not be an isolated incident, there is a lot being done to address bullying. Below are a few resources that can be found online regarding bullying.

The information in this post was inspired by a NY Daily News article which can be found here.
I was watching Good Morning America this morning and saw a story about Karen Klein, a school bus monitor in NY who was relentlessly bullied on a school bus by middle school students. The 68 year-old tries to ignore these bullies, but they end up making her cry eventually.
According the crowd funding website Indiegogo, she makes a measly $15,506 a year to monitor school buses. The website has started a campaign to give her a vacation. Their goal was $5,000 and by this morning, they have already raised close to $163,000.
Although it is sad that this happened to Karen, it is really amazing how supportive people can be. Let’s have you weigh in Ashley Lake Park. How do you feel about this story?

It’s not often that I get truly inspired, but Biking for Baseball has made a real impression on me. I was watching a baseball game on TV and saw an in-game interview with the folks from Biking for Baseball. The B4B team is riding 11,000 miles over 165 days and impacting the lives of 1,000 children. They are hosting a youth movement event alongside a home stand of each MLB team this summer to reach as many people as possible.
Biking for Baseball’s events are intended to create a fun and positive atmosphere for adults (bigs) and kids (littles) to work together and learn from one another. They believe in packing as many teaching moments as possible into a single two hour baseball themed event.
Biking for Baseball Will be at Marlins Park on June 21st! Will you make the drive to Miami Ashley Lake Park? You can read more about Biking for Baseball on Facebook or their website.
